I aimed to capture the hidden facets of Montreal through art and street photography. Using the Hasselblad XPan II's panoramic format, I found a unique canvas to redefine the city's visual story. Embracing film allowed me to focus on the pursuit of light, favoring a thoughtful, analog approach over digital speed.
Montreal, a cultural tapestry where French and English blend seamlessly, is a haven for photographers. Its vibrant energy, from the gourmet delights of Old Montreal to the eclectic rhythms of the Jazz Festival, continually inspires. Yet, my goal was to rediscover the city, capturing fleeting moments that reflect its unique spirit.
Every shot became an exploration of light and color, transforming everyday scenes into extraordinary compositions. The city's rhythm, its people, its architecture – all became subjects in this ongoing journey. By taking my time, I aimed to unveil Montreal’s hidden beauty, one photograph at a time.
